Positive: Asia and Martin and their kids were the perfects hosts. Martin was there to meet us with fresh fruit and flowers when we arrived even though we were quite delayed and didn't have local phone coverage to warn him. Asia was very accessible throughout our week-long visit. She and Martin speak fluent English. As for the house: In a region known for its beautiful wooden homes, this one stands out from all the rest. The pictures do not do it justice. People would ask us about it if they saw us out in the beautifully landscaped garden. We even had a neighbor and his kids over for a barbeque one evening. The furnishings were obviously chosen by someone with an eye for design. The hosts' pride in this house is palpable. The entrance to Tatra Mountains National Park is a few minutes' walk up the road and we went on several hikes. (You can drink directly from the streams.) My wife and daughter and I flew in from Washington, D.C. and my in-laws drove in from Ukraine. It was the perfect home for a family reunion and Asia and Martin and their kids were the perfect hosts. 10/10
