Positive: Best of all – the location. Close to restaurants, with a lovely view of the river and marina. Overall, I was happy with the stay. The apartment is spacious and airy – with just three of us staying in a place meant for six, there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and not feel on top of each other.
Negative: The flat is fairly well equipped, but definitely showing signs of wear and tear. No coffee machine, broken chairs on the balcony, a stained ceiling in the kitchen, and cobwebs in two of the bedrooms. The shower cabins were working, but not perfectly, and the rain shower in the en-suite bathroom wasn’t functioning at all. There were also some visible water stains or damage in that bathroom. On the downside – cleanliness left a bit to be desired. The floors had been vacuumed, but only half-heartedly, and there was a noticeable layer of dust under the living room furniture. It felt like the cleaning had been done in a bit of a rush. All in all, the apartment is functional, spacious and well laid out – but it could really do with a bit of a facelift. One real downside was that we only got one front door key – even though we were given three key cards, there was just a single key to get into the flat, which made things a bit awkward at times.
