Banjoe Vacations invites you to come to Lake Lure and stay ON the water. The Cardinal Cottage is built right over the lake and comes complete with a hot tub and 2-person kayak, with a pontoon boat available for rent. The rooftop deck with fire table is a fantastic place to relax. Move down to the table on the dock overlooking the water and end your day with a soak in the hot tub. This is lake life at its best! And bring the dogs (additional fee required)! They will love the lake too.
While we are not on location, we are easily just a phone call or message away should you need anything or have any questions during your stay!
This house is located in a quiet and beautiful cove of Lake Lure. While there are houses nearby there is enough space on each side of the property to make you feel that you are on your own slice of heaven! The town of Lake Lure is small and peaceful yet has everything you need and so much to explore!
The entire area marked for the Cardinal Cottage is for your use. This includes your own parking space, upper deck, your own dock, hot tub, and entire cottage.
This cozy cottage is built right over the water so almost wherever you look, you can see the lake.
Inside, the cottage is comfortably furnished with two pullout sofas, a dining table, and a full kitchen. The bedroom sleeps 2, and both sofas in the living room convert to beds, so the house can sleep 6 people total. There is a workspace with a desk that overlooks the lake, making it easy to take in the views while you work. The bathroom is supplied with toiletries and towels (no need to bring your own).
Outside, there are two dining tables and a gas grill. The rooftop deck has a large modular couch, loungers, a hammock, and a propane fire table. The professionally maintained hot tub is also available to guests.

**Additional note about Lake Lure:
Lake Lure is a town-funded lake that practices sporadic drawdowns. The drawdown of Lake Lure this winter will be from November 1st 2023 to the end of March 2024.
Please be aware that if you book from Nov - April, depending on what the town decides, there could possibly be little to no water in the lake. During drawdowns, all boats will be put away. However - there are plenty of other fantastic activities in the Lake Lure and Chimney Rock area during the winter season!
