Positive: The house itself and location was wonderful.
Negative: The home is a large home, with space for 8-10 people. The downstairs fridge didn't work and we were told by real estate that it wasn't advertised, so wouldn't supply one/fix it. The hotplates on the stove didn't function at all. Advised real estate, who organised an electrician on day 2 of our 4 day stay. When electrician came, was told by him it needed replacing and it was a standard size, so should be done quickly. Was advised by real estate that it wouldn't be replaced until day 3 of our stay. They said we could change location (unreasonable for 8 people/2 dogs, with 2 nights down, 2 to go). Or they suggested that we could cook on the BBQ. Again, totally unreasonable after paying $1500 for 4 nights! Real estate lacked empathy for our situation and did very little to rectify it. I was not kept informed by the real estate, so had to keep ringing them to find out what was happening with our cooking facilities. I am extremely disappointed. It should have been a great time with family all coming together.
