This newly upgraded modern vacation villa is spacious and just a 2 minute walk to the Regal Palms Resort & Spa clubhouse/water complex (Phase 1). Only 8 miles from Disney World, and minutes away from all Orlando's theme park. This gated resort destination has full service resort amenities, The resort's Clubhouse offers 24-hour guest reception, marketplace with grocery items, concierge services to secure Disney World tickets and many other family activities and attractions in the area. Stay connected while on vacation using the business center offering high speed internet access and free WIFI and also in the home for your comfort. IMPORTANT! Regal Palms charges a resort fee of $20 +tax per day (not per person), which must be paid to the resort at check in, The fee is $11/day/ for 25 days or more from Nov. 1 through the end of March. The resort fee gives you access to all of the amenities, including, pool towels,

When you stay at Regal Palms you have complete access to our swimming complex which includes a Resort Pool, Lazy River and Water Slide. The Pool is heated all year round to a temperature above 78°F using Geothermal Energy, even on the coldest winter day. A 30 X 70 pool will soon be opened and ready to enjoy. Zero Entry Pool for our Younger Guests is ideal for the smaller ones in the family, allowing them to splash and enjoy the fun. The Outdoor Jacuzzi is heated using Geothermal Energy to 104°F so you can comfortably get into your swimsuit and enjoy Florida vacation home even during the Winter Holidays. There is so much fun at the Regal Palms, such as Movie night, entertainment, games, and opened until 11pm. Great way to end the day!
Publix Grocery Store, Applebee's Grill & Bar, Pizzeria, British Pub , Bank, ATM, Drugstore, Gas Station, Starbucks, Ice Cream Italian Restaurant, Jersey Mike's are only a quarter mile away. The Walmart Supercentre is 3 miles away. The Orlando Premium Designer Outlet is a must to shop and there is shopping and dining just minutes away. The Highlands Reserve Golf Course is across the street from the Regal Palms Resort.
The resort is located near so much, but away from the hustle and bustle. Only 8 miles from Disney and centrally located to all area attractions. The East and West Coast beaches are a short drive (1hr,15m).
The spa that is located within the main Resort Complex, featuring a wide variety of cardiovascular equipment including life cycles, cross trainers, treadmills and strength training. So nice to time to visit to our sauna, steam room and whirlpool that will relax you.

Summary: First the positives. The owner and maintenance would call/text back timely and the bed was comfortable. It pretty much ends there. The unit needs a good cleaning, especially the bathrooms. The master bathroom toilet area and in the shower there was black & green mold on the tub faucet handle. Upon arrival, some of the dishes were dirty and we noticed that the dishwasher tablet dispenser had not opened. We wondered if the cleaning co stopped the dishwasher before it was finished and put the dishes away so they could leave. Stained couches, broken floor tiles, old carpet. The place is well warn and in need of an update. The unit had no washcloths. The owner ordered some at Walmart and I had to pick them up. Walmart gave me hand towels instead. She suggested I cut them but the unit had no scissors. She then had the maintenance co. deliver some washcloths and a pair of scissors. I asked her why she didn't have maintenance do that first instead of having us do it. She said she had to call the owner of the maintenance co to get it done.Sun 7:45 am leaving for Disney when we realized the battery was dead on the electronic lock front door. We couldn't lock the door. I texted and called maint. which arrived at 9 and 10 minutes later were done. Couldn't preventative maintenance avoid this situation? On our last night-New Years Eve, she texted asking if I would take some pictures of the back mats and send them to her. I obviously didn't. Overall a bad experience.
