Villa Brawta is a 5 Bedroom villa over looking Discovery Bay in Jamaica, between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay on the Northern Coast of Jamaica. Villa Brawta is located just a 10 minute walk from Puerto Seco beach and less than ten minutes drive from attractions like Columbus Park and the Green Grotto Caves. It features a private pool, hot tub, yard, open air spaces, and an available staff of 2. Service includes cooking of your meals (you purchase groceries) and maid service (including laundry) once during your stay if needed. The staff live on site. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom with shower. The per day price is based on a 6 people staying in 3 bedrooms. EXTRA rooms (2 Bedrooms) are $125.00 per day per room.

Summary: An interesting experience with a cook and property manager on deck. A very good local cook which I should have utilized more often. We were out sightseeing and enjoying the country often. The property overseer appeared friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The downside was they were always present which felt a bit intrusive. They had unlimited access to areas in the house that I thought should have been more private for the duration of our stay. The gates to the property were locked at night unbeknownst to me, surprisingly when I tried to leave for a midnight stroll one night. I asked to leave it open. Very restricted. The property was very tidy. The Kitchen was shared by the overseer, the main doors were left open for easy access. Overall, my family stay was pleasant however, personally I require a little less intrusiveness and more privacy to rent a similar property in the future. My family agreed.
