Very nice, 3 bedroom (upstairs), 1 and 1/2 bath, home right on the weeki wachee river.
Huge screened porch just steps from jumping in or launching.
Things to Consider when searching other locations !
1. Is home directly on the main Weeki Watchee River? if not, the canals are murky
2. Is there a large screen room on the river, for those yellow fly and gnat seasons
3. Are the Owners committed to your perfect visit and great experience ?
4. Is the home immaculately prepared by and expert Home Prep Team ?
5.Are some pets allowed "with no pet deposit", we have never charged one
6. Are early and late check in/out allowed ? (depends on other guests
When choosing a vacation for your friends and family, please consider the above questions. We now have 2 homes directly on the Weeki and stay here often, so we are constantly upgrading the homes to provide a better visit. You may want to check out other two properties (they each have a unique personality) Home Away #4640609 (Clock House) !!
Another idea, plan a wedding, Clock House would be the best location, then we have two other homes for your guests and we can make a package deal based on your number of guests. We have had several to date.
Now back to the description. we have a 50" LED tv with full fastest available internet,
Home is in very nice condition and will be exceptionally clean for your visit. Double fish cleaning sink for your catch. Two new wooded decks right on the river.
We provide everything except-food,, and beverage of your choice.
Currently there are four kayaks included, and you can rent any water craft nearby.
We are near the takeout at Roger's Park (upstream, this is very important) and there is a huge nature preserve across the river (no homes). You can paddle upstream or boat downstream to the Gulf (in about 15 minutes)
Both wood decks are able to accommodate boats and the water is deep enough for boats and swimming.
Relax on the huge screened porch or the river decks and watch the manatees, otters, fish, and boaters come by.
We may consider some pets, especially if they are kept on the 1st floor (it has all laminate flooring) No promises, but you can inquire.
Home easily can sleep six, and we don't mind 8 if the kids want to sleep on the couches, or the screened porch (my favorite)

FYI - This home is not a party house. Neither the Owners or the Neighbors will allow excessive visitors or noisy partying.

Summary: We absolutely loved everything about the house and the river. The location was picture perfect, right on the main river and so close to hospital hole and rogers park. We saw quite a few manatees, some even from the dock! The house was cozy, the beds were very comfortable, the AC worked great, and the screened in porch was amazing to have. We spent most of our time out there while not on the river. Highly recommend to anyone!
