Be our ONLY GUESTS at Coral Sands Beachfront Apartments !! When we designed our own beachfront villa, we included a completely private West Wing as a condo so our guests could also enjoy the undisturbed beautiful beachfront location, directly on Hoopers Bay which is the SAFEST BEACH on Exuma. You can even keep your rental boat on our buoy which is directly in front of our beach!
Our 3 double bedrooms and 3 bath/shower rooms accommodation is on 2 floors on our 1.25 acre BEACHFRONT property--ideal for families/friends for up to 6 adults + 2 children for guests wanting a peaceful and private beach break and we can arrange a vehicle when required.
Conveniently and centrally located DIRECTLY on the calm and safe Hoopers Bay beach, regarded as the best to stay on in Exuma and with beautiful calm water ideal for swimming, kayaking, boating, enjoying the Green Turtles or simply relaxing !!
Fully air conditioned and with STARLINK high speed Wifi for working, gaming or watching videos.. We also have FREE kayaks for our more active guests whilst on the beach we have sun loungers and shower for those wanting to just relax. Our beachfront coconut trees provide natural shade when required.
Enjoy using a rented power boat which can be delivered to our buoy directly in front of Coral Sands for whenever you want to use it to explore offshore Cay, go fishing or snorkeling. Our guests find this more convenient than having to go to George Town to collect and then return it in the evening.
Coral Sands is situated only 12 minutes from George Town International Airport (code GGT) with several flights from AA, Delta, JetBlue and also Air Canada with a winter schedule and only 6 minutes from the capital George Town, whilst a good range of local shops are an easy level 5 minute walk or 30 second drive!
ADDITIONALLY for groups of between 7-10 guests, our adjacent beachfront 4 double bedroom/4 bath & shower rooms apartment is available and listed on #3719017. This is our sandypalmsbahamas. It offers the same "on the beach" pleasures as our coralsandsbahamas.

Summary: We stayed in Coral Sands May 2-9, 2022. There were 3 couples… using 2 bedrooms upstairs & 1 bedroom in the efficiency apartment downstairs. Perfect for a group, plus privacy. The home is tidy & well stocked. Best of all, the AC blows cold when you need it! Hoopers Bay is one of the most beautiful spots on the island…pristine, sandy beach with clear, calm water AND sea turtles. We rented a 21’ boat for the week and kept it on the buoy a few feet off the shore. Every day was a new adventure…visiting neighboring islands for lunch and exploring all the snorkel spots. I highly recommend renting a boat! One couple went bone fishing with Captain Stevie while another went scuba diving with Dive Exuma (basic shallow diving with great service). We stocked up every few days at one of the nearby groceries and ate out several times… Driftwood Cafe, Shirley’s, Choppy Waters, Fannys, Santana’s, and BLU. All terrific. The included minivan was a life saver, spotless and easy to drive (left side!). Our stay was smooth and relaxing in large part due to Peter & Betty Oxley’s incredible responsiveness. They are thoughtful and thorough. Peter aims to anticipate your needs before you do! They organized our transport to and from the airport & booked our exit Covid tests at the Exuma Family Medicine Clinic in Georgetown. All went off without a hitch. Thank you again for a true vacation!
