Positive: The host (Alessandro) and his mum (Laura) were super helpful and attentive, giving us all the privacy we needed. The location is fantastic... right in the centre of Martano... the house itself is very interesting, looking like a mini palace... plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby (breakfast is taken in a café very close to the house)... Martano is full of historical monuments and the evenings on the terraces are very pleasant to escape the heat. The room is spacious and has plenty of storage... there was even a kitchen available... everything was always very clean. An experience to repeat!
Negative: Although it wasn't a very important requirement for us, the internet signal was a little weak in some parts of the room... but you just had to go out onto the patio and enjoy it 100 per cent!
Summary: Very nice house... located right in the centre... clean space.. variety (cafés, restaurants, stores)
