Welcome to Diamond in the Sun! With spectacular Buck Island views, it's the perfect place for your family vacation or couple's getaway. This now fully air-conditioned unit is located in a highly desirable location within the lovely Coakley Bay property. Just steps away from the pool, this ground level, one story property is in a free-standing building in the front of the complex with a northerly exposure. You have unobstructed views of Buck Island from your front row, double length gallery that stays cool in the shade and is close enough to the water you can hear the waves. With no attached units on the right or left, the gallery is open on both ends and windows on all four sides allow the Caribbean breezes to flow freely through.
The unit has three bedrooms. The large and airy Captain's Suite features a king-sized bed, ensuite bath with a shower and opens to the gallery. The Tradewinds Room offers a queen-sized mattress and is aptly named for the wonderful cross breeze that flows through it. A comfortable twin bed in the VI Room invites you to relax and unwind. Every bedroom is outfitted with its own quiet, split air conditioning unit. A full-size sleeper sofa is available in the living room for a possible sixth guest. The common bath has a shower/tub. There is a hair dryer under the sink. The Coakley Bay Association also processes its own water supply!
Should you choose to dine in, either at the inside table or outside on the gallery, you can prepare your meal in the well-appointed kitchen or the gas grill on the patio. In the kitchen there is cookware, silverware, drip coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, blender and even an iced tea pot. The refrigerator has an ice maker.
There is a washer and dryer in the third bedroom as well as a clothes drying rack on the porch. Please do not hang towels over the balcony railing. Bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach bags, satellite TV and WiFi are provided.
The recently renovated saltwater pool is open and gorgeous! Two pool passes are included in the unit.
The on-site restaurant “GOAT Soup and Whiskey” is open seasonally from late November to early April.
Please note that we HIGHLY recommend you reserve and rent a car while visiting St. Croix. You will not be able to walk to town and there are no walking paths along the roadsides. Reserve a car in advance as inventory is sometimes limited. Avis, Budget and Centerline rentals are located at the airport. ALSO- parking is limited at Coakley Bay condos. You must have a parking pass to park in any lot at the complex and there is only one parking pass available per unit. If you park a car at Coakley without a parking pass, you run the risk of having your vehicle towed at your expense.
This is a NON-SMOKING UNIT. There is no smoking allowed in the unit, on the gallery or anywhere near the buildings. The HOA has placed buckets around the property where guests can smoke. They are clearly marked and there is one right outside the condo at the parking lot end of the sidewalk. We appreciate your consideration.
