Positive: I went to Varanasi with my family of 4. We were looking for a place where 4 of us could stay together in the room. Glad I found this place as it met all our requirements. The staff was really helpful and answered all our questions. The location was at a 5-minute walk from the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Kaal Bhairo Temple. The nearest ghat (Scindia Ghat) only took 3-4 minutes to reach on foot, so if you are looking for a place to stay at while being really close to the ghats, this is the place to go. I was really skeptical of the cleanliness considering all the reviews of the various budget hotels in Varanasi, but all my worries went away as soon as I entered the room. The room and the bathroom were really clean and my mother who is a bit of a clean freak didn't really raise any concerns, so I give cleanliness a 5/5. The food was also above average although it took around 30-40 minutes after my order. Overall, I would recommend the place to anyone who is travelling with family or alone and is looking for a clean place to stay.
Negative: The location of the hotel is near the ghats and as the city is old, there is no place for a car to enter. The nearest car-accessible road is at a 5 minute-walk distance from the hotel, so there is no place to park at the hotel. There is a parking space near the hotel (Rs. 300/24 hours) which is at a 5-minute walking distance. So, I would recommend being in touch with the staff. After reaching a hotel called Sri Balaji, just call the Dhaneshwari Hotel and they will take care of the parking and will help with your luggage.
Summary: The hotel was clean, conveniently located, and had good food, but lacked car access and parking.
