We're walkable to everything in Dewey and less than one mile to the Rehoboth boardwalk. Extensive renovations + improvements recently completed. We provide a pack and play for little humans and two crates for dogs. We even provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cart. All just two blocks to the beach with a bay entrance a block away. Parking for 3 cars. Everything Dewey has to offer is within walking distance - two blocks to the beautiful beach and just one block to Dewey restaurants, shops, and bars. Bring the whole family - house sleeps 8 comfortably. BR1 has king bed and bay views, BR2 has 1 full + 1 twin bed; BR3 has 2 twins + 1 full bed. Living room furniture seats 8 very comfortably (you'll love our extra-long sofa and swivel glider chairs!). Indoor dining for up to 12 people and outdoor dining space for 10-12 with infrared grill. In addition to four total indoor and outdoor dining tables for working (if you must), there is also a desk in the master bedroom. With 2.5 bathrooms, there won't be a long wait in the morning or when getting ready for a night out. Other amenities include 3 parking spaces (2 assigned, off-street parking spaces and 1 Dewey on-street parking permit), cable TV (incl HBO), streaming (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Apple TV+), DVD, and high-speed Wi-fi internet, new full-size washer/dryer. Fully equipped kitchen features the basics like a refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, dishwasher, and microwave as well as a toaster oven, coffee maker, hand mixer, and blender. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and a rolling beach cart for your gear? We provide it all. Just coming off the beach? Hop in the newly rebuilt enclosed outdoor shower to cool off and wash the sand away. Dog loves to roll in the sand or jump waves? Use the conveniently located hose to rinse the salt and sand out of your dog's fur. NEW We're continually making updates to our Dewey Getaway home to make it even more comfortable and enjoyable. A few things we've done recently: new flooring, newly rebuilt outdoor shower, new kitchen appliances, new Weber propane grill, new living room furniture, new master bedroom mattress, fireplace makeover, interior freshly painted, updated kitchen, renovated powder room, renovated primary bath, hot water heater, mattresses, HVAC, washer, and dryer. Carpets and upholstery are steam cleaned 3+x / year. DOGS Up to two well-behaved, non-marking dogs over one year of age are welcome as long as they are 1) not destructive or excessive droolers (you know if your dog is one!), 2) up to date on flea & tick treatment, and 3) potty trained and non-marking, and 4) their humans agree to crate them when left unattended. We even provide two 36" crates that fit our 60 lb. mixed breed dogs. This grassy property is a rarity in Dewey and a doggy delight. We also provide clean stainless steel bowls! Sorry, no cats or other pets. DEWEY IS THE MOST DOG-FRIENDLY BEACH AROUND - Dewey allows dogs on the beach anytime between Sept 15-May 15 and before 9:30a and after 5:30p from May 15 - Sept 15. And with bay access just around the corner what dog wouldn't be happy?
