'Number 3' enjoys a panoramic sea view that is best enjoyed after a busy day on the blue flag beaches of Cromer and a fish and chip supper at the Nationally renowned 'Number One' restaurant that is very close by, along with all the attractions that Cromer has to offer.
Whether from the outside balcony or the inside upper lobby area the setting sun over the sea is a memory that will last a long time. Early birds can take their coffee on the balcony as the sun rises from the other end of the horizon. An open field lies between the house and the cliffs and is well used by walkers and dogs en route to the Blue Sky Cafe that serves an excellent bacon roll at the far end of the field.
Cromer has 'Royal Cromer' Golf course open to visitors and the unique pier with its wooden boardwalks out over the North Sea, where crab lines dangle over the railings all year round. The lifeboat museum and its cliff top 'Rocket House' cafe, and the traditional town museum are popular indoor destinations as are the many independent shops selling everything for the visitor and resident alike and the numerous cafes and restaurants catering for every taste.
All of this except the Golf course (but including the crazy golf!) is in easy walking distance from the house, as are the beaches, so there is no need to use the car much during your stay.
If you wish to explore further the traditional seaside market town of Sheringham is the next town along, 10 minutes drive away, just the otherside of the two Runtons - the villages of East and West with their own beaches shops and pubs. A scenic drive along Norfolk's beautiful, accessible coastline lies Wells beach and Holkham estate- a wonderful day out.
Sheringham and Cromer enjoy a friendly rivalry and you are free to wander and able to compare their respecitve blue flag beaches, proms, shops, golf courses, museums, theatres, cafes restaurants sea-front pubs, prominent Churches and weekly markets!
Aswell as the front aspect is the south facing rear garden with strategically placed outdoor seating catching the sun all day. The BBQ and table and chairs completes the picture.
As you approach the house the beautifully designed front garden sits alongside the ample car parking area where 3 cars can comfortably park. Then stepping inside the front door you enter the outer hall and then large main hall with plenty of space to shake off the sand and leave the buckets and spades, and set out the dog's bed!.
Stairs lead off to the upper sea view landing and the 2 good sized king bedrooms, and a twin beded room are well kitted out with new furniture and vertical blinds.(please note the 2 king bedrooms are able to have an additional travel cot if needed) But we are able to supply both cot and a high chair and pressurized stair gate if requested at time of booking.
The main bathroom is off the landing as well, and the full length glass door leads from the indoor viewing area to the outside balcony.
A large fully fitted kitchen is off the downstairs hall overlooking the rear garden, with indirect access to the downstairs WC and shower.
The main wide reception runs the whole length of the house and is informally divided into a dining room with patio doors to the garden a main lounge area and the front lounge area - with its own sea views through wide clear windows.
Freesat TV available in the lounge and Amazon Fire 'sticks' for TV on demand, aswell as wi-fi throughout the house.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs welcome for a small additional charge. To be kept downstairs only. Dogs must not be left alone at the property at any time. . Please check locally for any restrictions on where they can walk - take them to the nearby NT parks - Felbrigg or Sheringham Park for a treat!
