St Wyllow is a charming detached cottage in the heart of Polruan, a few hundred yards from the water and across the river from Fowey. The light and airy house has two bedrooms, large kitchen, sitting room, shower room and loo, large utility / boot room and a downstairs loo. As you enter St Wyllow through the side door you can immediately strip away the muddy boots, wellies and wetsuits into the large utility/boot room. It also houses the tumble dryer and freezer. The blue grey painted kitchen is typically cornish and boasts a large stripped and painted pine table which seats eight - great for board games and papers! The sitting room is light and airy and has two grey modern settees, television and an aga log burner for cosy evenings in. A stable door leads onto a sunny terrace where you can enjoy being at the heart of the village with table and chairs for eating al fresco and enjoying a view to the river. In the master bedroom whitewashed walls, waxed original floorboards and navy blinds compliment the Kingsize Edwardian-style cast steel black framed bedstead; you will enjoy a great nights sleep on the 1500 Pocket Sprung M&S Mattress from day one of your holiday! The spacious twin bedroom has a built in wardrobe and two single beds with room for a third fold out bed if required. All Beds are dressed with white egyptian cotton bedding. St Wyllow is Wifi connected so you can stay in touch. Well-behaved dogs are welcome too. Polruan is a pretty village with a scrumptious tea shop and two excellent pubs. There is a shop & newsagents just down the hill and next door to the Bakery - wake up to the smell of fresh bread and the cry of sea gulls! There are two small sandy beaches in Polruan perfect for little ones and larger adventurers will enjoy jumping off the quay wall into the water. The South West Coast Path passes through the village and the cottage is just two minutes away from spectacular cliffside scenery. Perfect walking with a choice of both coastal and wooded inland circular routes. There is a regular passenger ferry for the crossing to Fowey. The bottom of Fore street is narrow but you can park briefly to drop off. It's a two minute walk from the car park. Weekly tickets can be purchased.
