Newer 2200-square-foot, custom, log cabin with three-sided wrap deck nestled on one+ acre in Deerfield off of Mayhew Inn Road. Beautiful trees and ferns with room to breath. Three miles from Swallows Falls, 2 miles to horseback riding stables and 5 miles to State Park Beach which has full water access and a public boat launch with a great 'Discovery Center.' We are about six miles south of the Wisp skiing area, with the lake across the street from us, however there is no public access there. Arrowhead and the Honi Honi are about 3 miles. There is a bedroom with a King and a Twin plus a full bath. A second bedroom with a queen and a private bath. A third bedroom with a queen and a fourth bedroom with a double bed and a shared bath. There is a couch in the loft and room for one blow up mattress. The LOFT couch does not pull out and it is the only couch that I allow visitors to sleep on. Ceiling fans throughout, with great cross ventilation. There is a nice walkout basement with a new second Family Room. There is a foosball table. Gas FP with remote. Comfy NEW Living room furniture, no cast offs from our basement. Great flow to the house. Linens & paper goods are provided at NO additional cost, all you need to bring is your personal gear. Very comfortable home where you can put your feet up to read or relax after a day of activities. Campfire pit out front to have a fire and roast marshmallows. There is no additional charge for linens or garbage service, however there is a cleaning fee of $140 for the cleaning service after your departure. There is no additional tax. All rates are subject to a holiday premium. Should any group misrepresent themselves they will forfeit the deposit and or be evicted. Pets are welcome with discretion of the owner. There is a $75 pet fee per visit per pet. MAX 2 pets. Cancellations within 30 days are subject to a 50% of rental rate. One last note. There are three deer heads over the fireplace. We did not shoot these animals. I bought 2 at a yard sale, in the hopes of displaying their beauty, lest they be killed in vain. The third guy was given to us buy a past renter, in the hopes of recycle. Hopes this makes sense to you...and you are not freaked out by them. Honestly- it makes me sad, but I figure at least give them some respect.... Flexible, non-weekly rentals are okay.
