Dakune Lodge is the ideal accommodation for any season!
The lodge is warm and spacious, has a large cosy lounge with plenty of seating, open fire, free wifi, 50 inch large TV (with DVDs and Netflix) and surround sound system. This area leads onto the open plan kitchen/dining area (complete with mini bar area and fantastic board game selection) and has two doors that lead out to the wonderful deck and bbq. The back deck has a hot spa to relax in at the end of a cold day, as well as a fire pit and large back yard. There is a drying room for ski gear on the ground floor, as well as a games room with pool table and dart board for entertainment.
The Lodge is close to the train station, bars and restaurants and in close proximity to spectacular walks, ski fields of Whakapapa (50 mins) and Turoa (20 mins).
The lodge can sleep up to 30 people and has 8 bedrooms upstairs, and 2 downstairs (that are adjacent to the recreation room complete with pool and tennis table). These two bedrooms are located off the rec room, and access to the 10th bedroom is through the 9th bedroom. A great area to hang-out and relax.
Youthtown Lodge has modern facilities and is a wonderful location for school groups, family reunions, conferences/corporate events/ weddings, or holidays.
