This cute, cosy apartment is part of a circa 1880 characterful corner block home and has been cleverly separated to create a private, secure pad that’s perfect for 2. The amazing location is rare for such a unique one-bedroom holiday rental. You’ll undoubtedly enjoy the proximity to both the beautiful stretch of beach and the wide range of amenities nearby.
With its private entrance and secure yard, it feels like you have your own little house all to yourself. Enter into the hallway and the spacious kitchen/laundry is to the left, the bathroom to the right with the toilet straight ahead. Access the separate bedroom through the bathroom.
The kitchen is newly renovated and has a light palette with white joinery and light timber benchtops. It’s well equipped and includes a dishwasher, oven, induction hob, fridge-freezer, microwave and coffee machine. The breakfast bar is perfect for meals, with two stools provided, and a large window means this room is bathed in natural light. The kitchen also doubles as a laundry with both a washing machine and dryer housed neatly in custom joinery.
The bathroom is also renovated and has a shower, vanity and a separate toilet. There is a coastal feel to the decor with V-groove timber panelling adding a designer touch.
The bedroom is pleasantly appointed with fresh clean bed linen, carpet and art on the wall. All linen is provided for your convenience. The room enjoys the northern aspect of the home so is nice and light with plenty of windows. There isn't a separate lounge area, so the charming and calming bedroom with wall mounted TV is your place to unwind. Plenty of houseplants add a natural element to the vibe.

The location is spot on. Just one block back from Glenelg Beach, it’s a delightful position for a getaway. Have a morning swim, stroll along the promenade, explore the local bike tracks and coastal walks, and enjoy the incredible sunsets! If you enjoy fishing, there are some good local spots so don’t forget your fishing rod!
There’s a handy cafe on the beachfront, just a block to the south and several popular pubs nearby. With a Mediterranean restaurant to the south and an abundance of eateries on Jetty Rd to the north, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to eating out. Jetty Rd is definitely worth a trip at night with its beautiful palms lit up with fairy lights year-round. Get there in time to watch the sunset - just magical. In the daytime, enjoy some retail therapy in some of the boutiques.
The tram runs along Jett Road into Adelaide and takes 37 minutes or you can take the 265 bus in just 23 minutes. It’s a great base to explore Adelaide. Visit the Art Gallery, the Botanic Gardens, the Gaol Museum and the Himeji Garden. That’s just for starters!
