Beautiful lakeside cottage built in 2007. Located on pristine Lower Narrows Pond, you'll enjoy peace and tranquility of lake life while being close enough to Augusta to explore Maine's capital city. Inside: This custom, well-crafted cottage has walls and ceilings of white pine, 2 downstairs bedrooms, a large loft upstairs, and a fully enclosed porch. The vaulted ceilings in the kitchen, living room, and porch add a spacious feel to this cozy waterside retreat. Outside: A lovely boulder path leads down to the private dock. You'll enjoy swimming in the crystal clear waters or taking the rowboat and kayaks for a paddle. Don't forget to take time for fishing! Upper and Lower Narrows ponds are known for clean water and largemouth and smallmouth bass, trout, and even salmon. Grab your groceries for your stay at Hannaford Supermarket, only 3.5 miles away or schedule some tee times at one of the three nearby golf courses. Augusta (State Capitol) is a 20 min drive and LL Bean and shopping in Freeport is less than an hour away. If you want to spend a day at the coast, Boothbay Harbor is only an hour away. Other things to note No smoking inside. No other over night guests. You will be required to sign a rental agreement.
