Just 0.5 miles from the cottage is Abergynolwyn station with its popular cafe – you can hop aboard one of the heritage steam trains to travel through the countryside to the beauty spot of Dolgoch Falls and onward to the seaside town of Tywyn. The coastal villages of Fairbourne and Aberdyfi are within 8 miles, both of which have gorgeous sandy beaches and traditional seaside shops, eateries and attractions.
The former slate quarryman’s cottage is full of characterful period features, such as exposed beams and flagstone flooring that sit alongside contemporary furniture and elegant soft furnishings. At the heart of the home is a cosy lounge/diner, with plush sofas, ambient and well chosen lighting, artwork on the walls, and a collection of homely touches. Unwind in here after a long walk, watching a film on the Smart TV and warming your toes by the wood burner, which is set within an original slate fireplace. There is private parking for one car directly outside the property, and further parking in the surrounding streets (subject to availability).
