This romantic studio cabin is the perfect retreat for two! Completely remodeled in 2022, Cubby is an adorable, cozy hideaway with a full compact kitchen, mini-fridge, bathroom with custom rain shower and a king size bed. There is a front porch with a gas grill and a place to sit and enjoy the scenery or gaze up at the stars in the private hot tub out front. Located in the Upper Canyon, just a short walk from the Rio Ruidoso, Cubby is the perfect spot to cuddle up and relax during your Ruidoso stay. Cubby is one of 6 original cabins, built in the 1940's that helped to start Ruidoso as a village. These 6 cabins were a logging camp, built by loggers, to house seasonal workers. Wildlife is never far away… here you will see deer, turkey, elk, and in the warmer months, you may even see a black bear!

Summary: For the persons stated the bed was hard a rock, they fixed that problem Omg it was so soft, you just kind of melt into it. Only negative thing would just be put some bricks from the hot tub to side walk . This way you don’t have to step in dirt after you get out.
