A characteristic apartment with shared pool located among the hills just outside Lucca. Charming and authentic ambience with stunning, lush garden. Private furnished terrace. The apartment is for max 2 adults only (no child/baby).
This is a very special and personal apartment that really gives you an idea about what a countryhouse in Tuscany looks like. Crocetta is not a traditional holiday home but looks more like a real Tuscan home. Around the buildings there is a lush garden with both olive trees and many other exciting plants and flowers.
The owner is a famous Italian garden architect who has also written several garden books. The property is located on top of a hill with beautiful views over the landscape, but still you are only 6.5 km from Lucca. A perfect location if you want to explore other parts of Tuscany.
Crocetta is located on the ground floor in the owner's villa where she lives from time to time. The apartment is for max 2 adults only (no child/ baby). On the property there is also a house with another small apartment and the caretaker's apartment where he lives with his family.
In a beautiful position close to the houses and surrounded by beautiful plants, there is a swimmingpool measuring 5 x 11 mt, with a depth of 1.40 mt. Around the pool there are comfortable sun loungers and parasols. The pool is shared with the guests in the other apartment and with the owner when she is there.
Crocetta is completely private although it is a part of the owner's villa. It is divided into different levels with entrance from the ground floor directly from the garden. It is bright and very personally decorated in typical country style with warm colors and different textiles that give a special Tuscan atmosphere.
It consists of:
private entrance, living room with tv, sofa and a big antique fire place, dining place. Along four stairs you reach the small kitchen (gas hob, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave, American coffee maker, kettle, toaster). A double bedroom with beds that can be separated (must be ordered in advance if needed), a bathroom with shower.
Washing machine and iron equipment available.
In front of the house, along a few stairs, you reach a small private garden with a beautiful view. Here there is a furnished outdoor area, perfect for fresco meals.
