Crescent Moon on the River is an upscale cabin in the desirable Coosawattee River Resort. Come and indulge yourself and your family in this amazing cabin with high-end furnishings and a gourmet kitchen that will please the pickiest chef! Crescent Moon sports superb indoor and outdoor living on a private river front lot. Just 20 minutes from Ellijay, but you will feel you've landed in your very own private cabin oasis.
Don't be intimidated by the steep driveway. (Low sports cars are not recommended. AWD and 4WD are recommended during winter.) The cabin is well worth the driveway!!
Enjoy all the Coosawattee River Resort has to offer....indoor heated pool (year round), outdoor pools, tennis, rec center, fishing or tubing down the Coosawattee River during our lovely mountain summer weather. Day passes can be purchased for Coosswattee River Resort amenitites directly from us and we can leave them in the cabin for you. Unless you prefer to visit the POA and purchase them yourself. You can tube directly to your cabin from Canoe Park! Or stay in the cabin with all its bells and whistles and just relax. This cabin also offers corn hole, bumper pool, and a hot-tub.
There is much to do and indulge in at the cabin. Enter the front door and step into a fully stocked, gourmet kitchen. Open concept by design. Coffee maker is a drip (just bring your favorite brew!) Top end pots, pans, dishes, knives, and everything you can imagine to cook your favorite meal. Condiments and spices are not provided.
Step into the den on the main to absolute comfort. Cozy couches, throw blankets, gas fireplace, and huge flat screen smart TV. Eat in (open concept kitchen) and a second farmhouse table seat the family overlooking the expansive lot and river. You'll also find the main floor master with adjacent bath.
Step out onto the main level deck with plenty of seating in front of the fireplace and outdoor dining, all covered overlooking a huge flat lot to the river. Enjoy a beverage of your choice and enjoy nature at its best. (Remember, there is NO smoking anywhere on the property.)
Jaunt down to the river and enjoy a firepit to cook S'mores or char a delicious hot dog or sit on your private dock to fish, swim, or just chill.
Meander upstairs to the private loft/reading nook designed for adult quiet time or walk into another master off the loft with balcony and adjacent bath.
Mosey down to the lower level for a family game room/den with large flatscreen TV, refrigerator, games, puzzles, and bumper pool! Simply lift off the removable table top to enjoy bumper pool!! It also has full sized washer and dryer. You'll find two bedrooms downstairs, one a California King and the other sports 2 twin beds as well as a set of bunk beds. There is also a shared bathroom. The bottom level is a "walk out" to the expansive yard and river where corn hole boards are available!
All TVs are smart TVs and there is one in the main level bedroom, upper bedroom, and both dens. All have streaming capabilities.

You Must Be 25 or older to book! We do NOT allow a group of 25 year olds and under.
A valid driver's license and names and ages of all guests are required within 48 hours of booking and should be sent to info@dragonflycabinrentals.com. Toddlers and infants are included in the number allowed in the cabin. No exceptions. Please pre-book a pet as there are restrictions in size and number of dogs.
