Spacious cottage, built in 2014, sleeps 14 guests on three levels. Wraparound deck and screened-in porch are the perfect place to enjoy the natural surroundings of the woods and stream. Large eat-in kitchen and a comfy great room with TV and a wall of windows overlooking scenic Fishing Creek. Lower level Tavern Room with TV and game area give groups plenty of space to enjoy. All four bedrooms have a queen-size bed. The den on the main level has a twin daybed with a twin trundle bed. The lower level Tavern room has a twin daybed and a double pull-out bed. There are 3 rollaway cots available.
Fire pit overlooking the stream. Many trails are nearby for hiking, cycling, exploring and trail riding.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at Creekside Cottage. Kitchen is large, modern and well appointed. The bedrooms were comfortable and all the bedding was soft and clean. The home was spotless and the screened in porch enabled us to play cards late into the night without a bug bite. We enjoyed grilling on the deck and birdwatching nearby at Susquhannock Park. The kids went tubing and we all enjoyed antiquing. The lication is close to Lancaster as well as Port Deposit and Havre de Grace Maryland so we were able to day trip easily. Laura and Karen are great hosts, very responsive. We will definitely be coming back!
