Built in 2016, this incredibly clean riverfront three bedroom, two bath 2,100 square foot home is located just ½ mile from the NE entrance to Yellowstone National Park and has wifi, a firepit, and a great deck and yard overlooking the river. Located on a private, wooded acre of land with the river on two sides, it is THE closest rental to the park! Yellowstone's Lamar Valley is just 15 minutes away. Photographing baby animals in spring, touring the park in summer, hearing the elk bugling in fall, pristine cross country skiing on Yellowstone trails or wolf watching in Lamar Valley in winter, you can do it all from this home. In winter, you'll have the convenience of the plowed main road and the privacy of an acre of riverside wooded property. You can't beat skiing and snowshoeing around the peaceful wilderness of Silver Gate. Cooke City is just 3 miles away, with all of the snow sports that the Beartooth and Absaroka Mountains have to offer. Snowmobiling, snowboarding, backcountry skiing, it's all right here. Ride your sleds from the house to Cooke City's groomed trails. Plenty of room in the driveway for your trailer and trucks. Our extremely clean, newly built luxury cabin has a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a wide-open floor plan. The main floor master bedroom has a king-sized log bed, and a large master bath with double sink vanity, 6 foot soaking tub and 5 foot shower. Upstairs, the loft bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with mountain views out every window. The second upstairs bedroom has a twin-over-full log bunkbed and a full futon. If your group doesn't match our bed sizes, we have electronically inflated air mattresses available. The upstairs bath has double sink vanity and a shower/tub combo. Both bathrooms have on-demand hot water. The floor-to-ceiling wall of windows in the living room brings the great outdoors right inside to you. Enjoy the gas fireplace from the comfortable leather seating. Shelves of guidebooks help you learn about your Yellowstone surroundings, animals you will see and hiking trails both in and around the park. The open kitchen has brand new appliances, including a gas range /oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker, electric teapot, and microwave oven. Beautiful rustic hickory cabinets complement the quartz countertops. The large island/eating bar has great views out to the creek and Amphitheater Mountain. The ceiling is tongue and groove blue pine. Yes, we have a large laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer, so no need to over-pack!! An 8-foot deck surrounds ¾ of our home, giving you a private retreat to read, relax, sit with family and friends, or cook on the gas BBQ grill. The house has internet and DirecTV. Take a nap in the hammock, or just enjoy the peaceful outdoor space overlooking the creek and watch the deer, moose, and bison walk by to get a drink. Use our fly rods and see if you can outsmart the native Yellowstone Cutthroat trout in Soda Butte Creek. We also have a large outdoor fire pit for smores, evening storytelling, or enjoying a romantic nightcap. You and your family and friends are going to love this place! Whether our guests are families with children, extended families with grandparents, couples, or just friends looking for a fun getaway, we strive to provide memories that will last a lifetime. After a day of sightseeing or hiking in the park, Creekside at Yellowstone will provide the perfect “basecamp” to come home to every evening.
