New for October 2019 Creek’s View Lodge is situated in an elevated position within the small Hamlet of Collapit a 2 minute drive or 20 minute walk from the lovely market town of Kingsbridge with its shops, cinema, sports centre and waterside pubs and 5 minutes from the fashionable Salcombe . Set in the most idyllic location overlooking Collapit Creek and the countryside beyond, the beautifully presented contemporary property built on one level is modern, light, spacious and secluded. The Creek itself can be accessed via a small slipway 200m from the property, ideal for kayaking, paddle boarding and launching small boats . On a High tide you can explore the many small beaches along the Creeks edge and access further afield kingsbridge Salcombe and beyond. At low tide you can walk along the river bed (avoiding the mud) and see the many birds fishing, if you are lucky you may even see the resident Kingfisher’s from the bridge at Collapit. Creek’s view Lodge has its own private driveway large enough to accommodate two cars and even a small boat, The private entrance and enclosed south facing decking area looks down to the Creek and the countryside beyond. It is the perfect getaway for those who want complete privacy, whilst being a few minutes drive away from the beautiful South Hams beaches such as Bantham, Bigbury, Thurlestone, South Milton and the bustling town of Salcombe. The property itself has a large south facing private decking area and panoramic views perfect for alfresco dining and drinks on the deck. It really has a back to nature feel, watching from the deck the many swallows, swifts, buzzards and curlews flying down to the Creek. Inside there is a large modern open plan living dining and kitchen area. The lounge has two comfy sofa's, Free Sat TV, Wifi. The well equipped Kitchen has all that you would expect, a dishwasher, toaster, kettle, Induction hob oven and grill, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dining table to seat 4 comfortably and large sliding doors to make the most of the decking and views over the Creek and countryside. The large master bedroom has a king size bed, bedside cabinets, dressing table, double wardrobe, seating area and views to the Creek. The spacious shower room boasts a large corner shower, WC and basin with large mirror with shaving point above. The second bedroom is spacious with zip and link beds which can be a made into a king size or two single beds, wardrobe, bedside cabinets and dressing table. The lodge is heated by modern up-to-date electric radiators with accurate electronic thermostat measuring room temperature to a quarter of a degree ensuring cosy evenings over the winter months. By night the deck is perfect for star gazing with no light pollution to restrict visibility.
