Situated on a deep, forested lot along a seasonal creek, the sounds of the whispering creek and views of the forest and distant peaks has a relaxing affect on every visitor. Located in Carnelian Bay North Lake Tahoe, this cozy and recently redecorated cabin feels miles from the busy life, but is actually only 10 minutes from everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and easy get away. The cabin has 2 very comfortable bedrooms plus a loft with a new, high quality sleeper sofa, 2 full bathrooms (with showers). Just inside from the deck is the gas fireplace (just touch the button for heat and ambiance - beckoning you to sit and relax just a little longer) with a large flat screen TV above the mantle. Seating for up to 6 in front of the fire, or 6 - 8 at the dining table, or 6 around the deck dining table will make this a great place to connect with family and friends. Open to the fireplace, living room, and dining area, the kitchen has all new stainless appliances with a gas convection oven, and 6 burner gas stove. The deck features a 6 person dining table served from the four burner gas grill. Hi-speed internet will keep you connected during your entire stay. For those that want to disconnect, fantastic hiking trails are just up the street connecting to the Tahoe Rim Trail, or hike, bike, cross country to the back side of Northstar or the Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area. Take the hike up to Watson peak and be amazed at the incredible views of the lake all the way across to Diamond Peak, Heavenly, and Mt. Tallac. For those that want to ski or board, take heart because you are only a short 10 minutes to Northstar, 20 minutes to Incline Village, Squaw Valley, Alpine Village, or Homewood, and about an hour to Heavenly and South Lake Tahoe. Only 5 quick minutes drive to the local favorite dining/drinks: Garwoods restaurant, and 10 minutes to Kings Beach and Tahoe City. Three major super markets and several great restaurants are less than 10 minutes away. After a fun filled day of playing in the mountains or the lake, the comfortable bedrooms are ready to help you recuperate for tomorrow. One bed and one bath are located on the main entrance level, along with the entrance to the deck overlooking the forest. Featuring a spacious room with your own couch, coffee table, and library the upstairs master bedroom feels more like a suite. Also upstairs, the loft features incredible views.
