"Lovely cabin! I was nervous about booking this cabin due to not having any reviews at the time. However, once we got there all fear went away and all expectations were met. The cabin was spacious, clean, great location. 10 minutes from a grocery store and the island. Loved the enclosed deck with hot tub. Hosts responded promptly with all questions. For us, the only improvements I wish we had was a second king size bed instead of the queen. And a firepit area outside. We will definitely book this cabin again."
"My husband and I chose the Smokies to celebrate our 2nd wedding anniversary. We wanted a mix of fun, adventure, and most importantly, a private escape from reality. We stumbled across Sven's Retreat as a brand-new listing, so we naturally had concerns about booking a place with no reviews yet. We took the risk anyway and we are SO glad we did! Walking in for the first time, we immediately felt at home. The cabin was above-and-beyond clean, very nicely decorated and had everything we'd need to enjoy the next few days alone. The WiFi was plenty strong with no issues, the furniture so comfortable, and a few added bonuses like the electric fireplace, outdoor grill, 2 porches, and let's not forget the amazing hot tub...inside a great screened-in porch... and under beautiful string lights, which was a nice touch. We couldn't believe how quiet and peaceful the nights are here. Even more, how close we were to the action of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Last, I have to mention the owners. From booking to check-out, they were so attentive and friendly. Huge plus for us! "
