Summary: I've never rented such a lovely house in such good condition! The pictures don't do it justice. The stairs lead to a bit of a loft, putting a very high ceiling over the living room, which gives it an airy feeling. The screened in porch is just heavenly. Also, we didn't know it would come equipped with a bike, a ton of beach chairs, boogie boards, Scrabble, cards, etc. Our only complaint had to do with Watch Hill, whose exclusivity translates into a lack of diversity, illegal blocking of beach access by seaside homeowners, and byzantine parking regulations designed to keep nonresidents out. To be clear, the rental comes with a parking sticker, but even then you need to learn where and how it can be used. If only the neighborhood of Watch Hill could be as awesome as this house is! The house itself was wonderful, and you can easily orient yourself toward Westerly and Misquamicut Beach if you prefer a more democratic vibe.
