4 Bedroom House in Hemphill

A warm inviting 2 story home with 18ft vaulted ceilings and upstairs living area with huge bay windows overlooking the picturesque lake! Exit the living room onto a 10’x30’ elevated deck made for a relaxing view or family barbequing!!!! It has a fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms with towels and wash cloths, fully functional laundry, and bedrooms all have linens and pillows. You will literally show up with suitcases like you are going back home!!!! The house is not on the waterfront, but is right across the street from the water - the neighborhood has a free boat launch about 100yds from the house, and the house has a covered boat shed. There is also a free launch roughly 1 mile from the camp to accommodate much larger vessels.

Summary: The advertising picture shows a view straight to the lake when in reality, there is a house on that foundation directly blocking the view. The house was very old and outdated and there were crumbs left on the bed covers in the room with the bunk beds. I had to wash the sheets before my daughter would stay in there. The layout is very strange. There is no primary bedroom with an attached bathroom. There is a bedroom upstairs that looks like it was added on later and it stays very hot in that room no matter what you set the air to. The closets are all very dirty and very small and we had trouble with a lot of the doors all throughout the house. The hot tub was disgusting, therefore unusable. Another drawback was there was only one television in the whole house. It was WAY overpriced and the owner actually told me he gave me a discount because they had recently had a water leak and some of the sheetrock was still missing. Never again.
