We aim to provide a stress-free vacation for families as they visit the Poconos Mountains.
The home includes a relaxing and immaculate master bedroom with a comfortable king size bed. As well as two additional bedrooms, one with a bunk bed (full-size bed and twin-size bed) and the other with another bunk bed (twin-size bed and twin-size bed).
The bathroom and kitchen are both fully stocked with toiletries and cooking supplies (pots, pans, crockpot, toaster, blender bread pan, cookie sheets, muffin pans, etc. - everything you could need to feel right at home). The expansive dining room table comfortably seats 10 and is great for family gatherings.
The complimentary coffee bar has both Nespresso and drip coffee options, as well as several flavors of delicious tea.
Because we had families in mind when readying this home for guests, we have no shortage of children's toys, board games, and books. There is also a jungle gym/swing set in the front yard for endless outdoor fun. Additionally, we have plenty of extra blankets to make epic bunk bed forts.
Also for families - we have included a pack n' play, highchair, bath toys for your convenience. There are also baby gates on the deck, outlet covers, and any cabinets/closets that could be a danger are babyproof/childproof.
Enjoy a coffee/tea by the wood fireplace or sit outside on the private deck as you view the endless nature surprises that visit (especially deer, one of which we named Florence).
In addition to the amenities the house holds, the gated community of Indian Mountain Lake has so much to offer at no extra charge to guests. The local community (everything within a 5 minute drive) boasts 5 lakes (fishing, swimming, kayaks/canoes!), 2 outdoor swimming pools & a kiddie pool, 4 tennis courts, & 2 basketball courts. Never get bored in this community!
Once you venture out of the community, there are endless activities that await you. Just a short drive away are Jack Frost Mountain and Big Boulder ski areas, the Pocono Raceway, the renowned Skirmish paintball facility, and plenty of options for white water rafting. This area is also a hiker's dream with plenty of options for hiking nearby, including hickory run state park, hawk falls, Bushkill falls & boulder field. We're also a short drive to the historic town of Jim Thorpe, which is consistently named as one of the most beautiful small towns in America!
