3 Bedroom Cottage in Minden Hills

Old fashioned cottage built in the 1950's. A perfect retreat for those wishing to get back to nature and how cottages were years ago. 10 minutes from Haliburton and many recreational activities in the area. Comfortable, quiet, serene. One bedroom cottage with wood stove and fully equipped kitchen. Also separate sleeping cabin with twin and bunk beds. Outdoor fire pit overlooking the lake as well as gas bbq. Separate washroom facilities with shower and composting toilet. Sandy beach and dock for swimming and excellent fishing. Canoe provided. 300 ft of water frontage. Wonderful sunsets, listen to the loons and enjoy the deer as they come by to visit.
Nature at its best. Come retreat and renew! Available July to September 30.

Summary: We just loved this beautiful location on a gorgeous lake surrounded by wildlife. The lake was perfect for swimming, we caught fish from the dock and in our kayaks/boat. The cottage is just as advertised, simple and rustic but so perfect for unplugging from our digital world, we loved reconnecting with our teens her through hood old fashioned outdoor fun. Thanks Joan for sharing this perfect getaway with us! We loved looking at the family memories and history in the cottage, such fun to be a part of such a historical property.
