Positive: The amenities were great. Response from the owner and communication was on point.
Negative: There was an odd odour the entire duration of the stay. Almost smelt old, and dingy. Something like wet wood/water damage. Took a lot of air fresheners and candles to mask it. It was particularly noticed in the bedroom and the comforter on the bed. The basement was also very cold, until we asked to have the heating turned up. The major issue was the noise from above. Seems like a family with young children live above, and the running around, dragging furniture and voices were really annoying and lasted until about 10 pm, and started back up at 8 am in the morning. Even though the door is locked for upstairs, its loud enough that it seems like its non existence and conversations are audible.
Summary: Great location, cozy yes, but not as peaceful and private as we had hoped
