The White House is a historic 1910 home that has been remodeled to be your perfect home away from home or staycation. We are one of the larger homes in the area, centrally located near most major highways, so it is easy to explore San Antonio, surrounding towns, and attractions. We welcome Pets. What makes us unique is how close to downtown we are and how many guest we can accommodate, up to 13 comfortably. We have exterior cameras for your convenience and our location is easily accessible to downtown. Our location is perfect for events or conventions at any of San Antonio’s venues such as the Alamodome, Henry B Convention Center, and AT&T center. Also a great location to experience downtown fireworks on New Year’s Eve! Extended stays and work crews are always welcomed as we have most amenities to make you feel like your in your own home.

Summary: For any event at the Alamodome, the location is Perfect! Even good for taking a quick Lyft to the Riverwalk. Actual house had 4 spacious bedrooms with nice, comfortable beds/linens. 2 Bathrooms are large but have a lot of wasted space. We had 4 women on our trip, so all had own room/space. While men might not have noticed all the things we did, the women did. Little things, but all things to make it a better 'customer experience'. Things to note: ice/water in fridge doesn't work (should have been a note on the fridge stating such, but was not). Shelf in kitchen with the dishes is very hard to reach if you are under 5'6" tall & there is no step stool to assist. I could NOT get Hot water out of the 'master' bath shower. There is only 1 towel bar in each bath & no towel rod/ring to hold the small hand towel near the sink, would be helpful. Vanities are both very small, no other counter space. Floors in both showers need to be tiled. There is NO place in either shower to put your washcloth or other supplies, yet the provided shampoo/cond/body wash containers are not fully stocked (1 empty in master, 2 empty in spare). Front door and 2 bedroom doors don't latch unless locked, could be fixed. 3 extra plug-ins/outlets in master bedroom are all over 6ft high, (not sure why) & very hard to reach when under 5'3". Ceiling fan in master worked 1 night, but then quit working on 2nd night. Very poor lighting in both baths. It's all these things that make the difference
