Home is located 22.6 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, just yards from the Great Allegheny Passage trail between mile markers 120.9 and 117.9. *An approximate one minute bike ride from trail to front entrance via low traffic side streets!
The area has a lot to offer year-round for the outdoor enthusiast from quiet walks, invigorating runs, hiking and your next cycling adventure; In addition, there is convenient access to the Youghiogheny River for water tubing, kayaking and fishing!
For eats and treats there is a trailside convenience store and a family-owned cafe within walking and biking distance (via the trail).
Guests will have complete access (*NOT SHARED*) to the fully furnished cottage including the oversized rear deck and open concept living/ kitchen areas. Kitchen has induction range/ convection oven, full size fridge/freezer combo with filtered water/ice maker and is stocked with cookware, bakeware, dishware, utensils, cooking oil, spices, and coffee/tea bar. A variety of grab and go items will be available for guests.
Spacious bedrooms are equipped with memory foam/coil hybrid mattresses, bed linens, room darkening curtains and ample closet storage. *Master bedroom has a smart TV and a designated workstation.
Guests also have access to the basement level (with walkout to rear yard) which includes a laundry area with complimentary detergent/dryer sheets, pool table and ample room for bicycle storage.
