Our chalet is located at 1100 meters above sea level. in the mountain village of Habkern above Interlaken. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and at the same time have a variety of opportunities for excursions (Jungfrau region, Grimselwelt) and experiences in the great world of the Bernese Oberland Alps. The beautiful city of Thun with its offers is also easily accessible.
Mountains such as the Augstmatthorn (2137m above sea level), the Gemmenalphorn (2061m above sea level) or the Hoh Gant (2197m above sea level) can be climbed directly from the house. The Lombachalp high moor area can be reached in your own car or with the Alpin bus.
The apartment with garden seating is on the ground floor of our chalet and can accommodate 3 people. This includes a parking space and a covered patio.
You can reach a bakery and a bus stop in a few minutes' walk (pick-up service may be possible).

Summary: Had a great holiday here. The chalet was comfortable, cosy and had everything we needed for a week away. Located in a lovely, quiet village with beautiful walks from the door and a free hourly bus into town. Great base for exploring the wider area.
