The interior is mostly made of elegant materials like wood, granite and upscale amenities. It is located in Kork, an idyllic and very peaceful village, 7 km from the border of the medieval historic city of Strasbourg.
A part of the traditional farmhouse, where tobacco was hung out to dry in the past, was renovated into this charming apartment. The independent entrance is in the courtyard of the old farmhouse. The apartment is organized in three levels: Ground floor entrance with a small hall, in the first floor, a large open plan space with the kitchen, the dining space, an office corner, three steps higher a large living room with a sofa, armchairs and a sofa bed. As soon as you enter, what immediately stands out is the huge open space, the terracotta floor, the wooden beams and the view. In this floor there is also a very nice bathroom with combinations in teak, green granite, a luxury bathtub and sink in greenish class and eucalyptus wood combination. From the big windows of the living room you can see the garden and over the little village cemetery you have an uninterrupted view to the horizon. The bedroom is at the mezzanine space over the living room reached with a beautiful turning iron stair. You have there a futon style super King bed (180X200). The apartment is occasionally rent, when not occupied from members of the family. It is continuously in a “living” status and therefore fully functional. That means also, you do not need to buy everything as the mainly used ingredients of a kitchen are always there.
