The cottage is actually on Portage Lake, which is one of the few lakes that actually connects to one of the "Big Three", Portage Lake allows small boats to access Lake Joseph under the highway bridge located near Gordon Bay Marina. While not disruptive, the local train can be heard every so often in the near distance. PROPERTY GORDON BAY'S BEAUTY was built in 2010, and offers true tranquillity for its guests! With no neighbouring cottages insight, the cottage sits on the evaluated ground significantly above the shoreline. Basking in eastern exposure, the cottage boasts a large deck that features 4 Muskoka chairs, 2 Muskoka rocking chairs and a bbq. The deck can be accessed from the living room, as well as privately from the Master bedroom. A lengthy wood staircase from the cottage will lead guests to the water's edge. This beautiful waterfront property features a brand new 50-foot long dock along the shoreline of Portage Lake. Equipped with 8 Muskoka chairs and a large umbrella, this dock offers an abundance of space that is a sought-after cottage feature in the Muskoka area. The waterfront also features a shallow sandy water entrance, as well as deepwater entry off the end of the dock (approximately 18 feet).
