Welcome to the oldest neighbourhood in the old town of Bruges. Just a ten-minute stroll from the Market square through the city’s enchanting cobbled streets, it’s the perfect location for exploring Bruges.
Tymora Bruges is a charming house located in the historic city centre and a short walk to the marketplace and all the most popular historical sites.
The house is newly refurbished and spread over three floors, offering three bedrooms each with king-size double bed, living and dining room, main bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen.
The House
Tymora Bruges is a semi-detached town-house with its own entrance and is finished to an impeccably high standard. The contemporary design reflects thoughtful attention to detail for an enhanced guest experience.
The entrance is located on the ground floor, leading to a comfortable living and dining area bathed in light, with a separate fully-equipped kitchen to prepare some great food to enjoy around the dining table. Extensive kitchen amenities include a Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, fridge, electric oven, electric hob and dishwasher. The main bathroom is also on the ground floor. The first floor corridor leads to two bedrooms each with king-size bed and the second floor features an impressive and spacious master bedroom with king-size bed and a freestanding bathtub within the room. Free wi-fi is accessed throughout the house and there’s a 43” smart TV in the living room.
Guest access
Guests enjoy total privacy and full access to the entire house. There’s convenient access for guests via a smart lock and the instructions are provided 2 days before arrival.

Summary: The property is nicely decorated with tasteful furniture. The kitchen is compact but well stocked with everything you need if you wanted to dine in. There was a lovely welcome pack on arrival. The property is within 10 minutes walking distance of the main square with its variety of bars and cafes. When entering the property we noticed a musty smell coming from the bathroom. We contacted the owner and he very promptly arranged for maintenance personnel to check it out. The smell appeared to less noticeable for the next few days. However there was then a leak from the shower and again workmen were promptly sent. They told us that the drain was clogged with hair etc and suggested we bought a drain clearing solution. They did not fix the leak and we didn’t feel that it was our responsibility to be sorting the clogged drain. After that we had an infestation of flies in the bathroom which was awful and the smell reappeared. We had five adults living in the property and the bathroom became a real problem. We felt that one bathroom for a property that can accommodate 6 adults is not adequate. Something that should have been mentioned in the description is that the spiral stair to the first floor is very narrow and steep. We had a pregnant woman in our group who found the stairs both tricky and a bit scary to navigate. I feel that the property has a lot going for it but would benefit from an additional bathroom.
