Escape the city for peace and quiet. Our gated 56 acre property is a perfect place to get away from it all and relax. Out in the country, everything is slower, even our internet! We have all the comforts of home that you crave, but none of the chaos. The single story barndominium has a wrap around porch to kick back on and all the trees provide great shade. There are animals on the land that would love some lovin', so feel free to say hi to them!
The space
The master bedroom has a king size bed. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. In the master closet, you will find 4 single beds that can be pulled out and put where ever you want them. Now lets get to the good, the bad and the country! The house is real gem out here. Have you ever been to Costco and seen the giant fans? Well, it's called a big ass fan and we have one in our living room! Perfect for that Texas heat. There is a jacuzzi tub for maximum relaxation and the master shower has 2 heads to choose what you love. There's a great swing on the porch to sit and take it all in as well as a charcoal grill to cook up dinner. There are trails around the property and through out the woods. We have a sweet but giant cattle dog that guards the animals and land (he will be there to greet you when you show up), barn cats that lounge around outside, and a bunch of chickens, some ducks, a handful of goats that do what they want, some cows, and 2 sweet rescue horses. You're more than welcome to help yourself to the fresh eggs!
For the bad, it's the country. There's not a lot around, so come prepared and bring your groceries! We're 5 miles down a dirt road and the closest store is a 25 minute drive. The land is sandy loam soil so if you have an aversion to sand, this may not be the space for you as it's easily tracked into the house. We're in the sticks so the internet is less than stellar and a lot of people do not get cell phone service out here. We do have a land line that can be used. There are spiders and snakes that you have to watch out for. But as long as your respect nature, you'll be good!
Guest access
The barn, garage, and farm equipment is off limits but the entire house and the land is yours to enjoy. There is to be no filming in the home or on the land without prior written consent.
