Welcome to Cottage Six located on Little Platte Lake in Honor Michigan. This year-round cottage is absolutely charming and has everything you could want in an “Up North” vacation rental, regardless of the time of year you visit.
The home has been updated with modern families in mind and features two bedrooms and one bathroom. It can comfortably sleep five guests between the master bedroom queen and the twin over a full bunk bed in the second bedroom. It can also accommodate a sixth guest on the oversized living room couch.
The home's floorplan is a wisely mapped-out open space with dining room seating for six guests plus additional seating at the countertop as well! The home also boasts a big-screen TV with high-speed internet, board games, books, and a cozy reading area, which is perfect for when the weather isn't cooperating!
The kitchen comes equipped with all the essentials and features two built-in countertop burners, a nice countertop convection over/airfyer, and a plug-in griddle. The exterior also has a cooking area with a large gas flat cooktop grill and a charcoal grill, giving guests plenty of options for cooking their evening's catch!
Guests can soak in the stunning lake views from numerous vantage points, like out the windows lining the rear of the home, from the private dock, or from one of the two sitting areas on the shaded wrap-around deck! Guest will also be provided seasonally with two kayaks, paddles, and life jackets.
The host provides a small amount of the following items to get you started! Salt, pepper, some basic seasonings, condiments, pan spray, plastic wrap, Keurig coffee pods, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. In addition to bath towels and washcloths for each guest, a beach towel per guest will also be provided. Please note that we do not have a washer and dryer at this time.
