DESCRIPTION: In this renovated old Poitevin farmhouse, typical of Aunis, you will appreciate this large group accommodation split into two independent accommodation units of 6 places each: AUNIS accommodation and SAINTONGE accommodation (the latter can accommodate up to 8 people in case of need).
The two accommodation units are similarly and completely equipped, whether in terms of cooking, sanitary facilities, bedding, household appliances, TV, etc.
You access from the public road by a passage (height limited to 1.90m) to the 4 parking spaces dedicated to the cottage.
The accommodation "Aunis" has 3 bedrooms, 1 on the ground floor allowing the reception of people with reduced mobility, a kitchen, a living / dining room, 2 bathrooms (including 1 overlooking the disabled room) and 2 WCs (including 1 adapted for disabled people located near the room)
The "Saintonge" accommodation is larger; it also has 3 bedrooms upstairs, one of which can sleep 3 people. Sleeping is also possible on the mezzanine.
There is an equipped kitchen, a large bathroom on the ground floor and one upstairs. The toilets are independent from the bathrooms on the ground floor and upstairs. The living room / lounge forms a full height hall and has a mezzanine. You can meet for large meals both outside on the large terraces facing due south and inside the large living room.
All equipment and furniture are new or in very good condition. Television and WiFi are present in this cottage.
Two outdoor barbecues and the sun loungers available will also delight you with friends or family.
The house is located in a wooded area which includes another body of building - where the owners live - and a heated swimming pool shared with another gîte. This equipment is in operation from May to September.
On site everything is planned for the best possible stay but it is possible to leave the area on foot by the routine that leads to the wash house and the old village of Laigne.
For local catering, you can join the restaurant LES FREROS with its simple and generous menus. The bakery also acts as a convenience store.
All shops are in Courçon (6 km) and in the commercial area with gas station in Ferrières (7km via the expressway towards La Rochelle)
