Positive: Good location, parking on driveway but also just a few minutes walk to a bus stop for 40D bus that takes you 20minutes into centre of Dublin, very close to Temple Bar district. The accommodation was clean and having basic kitchen facilities was very useful. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We took a dog, who was also made very welcome and, with a small area out of French doors, was very handy with a dog.
Negative: We thought that walking through the owners' downstairs accommodation to get to our room was possibly going to be an issue for us, but it proved not to be as they were so accommodating. They stayed upstairs almost entirely during our stay, so it was never uncomfortable for us passing through their front room.
Summary: Great hosts, good location, dog friendly, safe off-street park8ng, clean and comfortable.
