CoSea Cottage is a three bedroom, two full bath cottage with an additional private outdoor shower, in the family friendly Evergreen neighborhood of Peaks Island. Graced by a wrap around porch which spills out to a granite stoned patio, back deck and perennial gardens with a view of fields below, CoSea has seasonal water views and is a quick walk to TEIA Sailing and Tennis Club. The beauty of this little, newly remodeled cottage is it is nestled in a quiet part of the island and is fully equipped with a gas grill, washer, dryer, granite counter tops, dishwasher, keurig, sunny breakfast nook, flat screen TV with cable/high speed internet. It's back entryway has plenty of room and hooks for storage and outer wear. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom a full and twin and the third (and largest bedroom), has three twin beds and the space to set up a portable crib which is included. CoSea Cottage sleeps no more than 6 family members comfortably including young children. There is a portable crib and Ikea highchair, along with safety gates. The bathrooms are both brand new. Upstairs bathroom has a clawfoot tub and ceramic tiled floor. Downstairs bath has large ceramic tiled shower and floor and stackable washer and dryer. The outside shower is private and has hot and cold water making it an ideal space to wash off salt water and sand from a day at the beach. All new wood floors throughout. Responsibilities of guests: Guests must sweep out cottage and put garbage out for pick up. Cleaning fee is incorporated in the price. About Peaks Island/Portland: Peaks Island is one of over 211 islands in Casco Bay and is home to 1,000 or more year round residents. During the summer months, the population grows as people flock to the island to enjoy the island charm and beauty of Casco Bay. Peaks is a 20 minute ferry boat ride from Portland Maine which boosts east coast sea town restaurants, breweries, shops and entertainment. Exploring the island is easy. It's a 20 minute ferry ride on Casco Bay Lines which operates 10-13 ferry runs a day depending on the time of year. The island is approximately 2 miles long and 1 mile wide (at it's widest point). If you keep to the shore roads, the island can be walked easily in an hour or biked in 15-20 minutes. Peaks has a general store, 3 restaurants, shops, ice cream and candy store, beaches, bike, kayak and golf cart rentals, sailing and tennis club with weekly memberships for tennis, sailing, pickle ball and day camps for kids, outdoor oceanside playground for lobster bakes, and barbecues, health center and full-time police and rescue services.
