Feel your worries wash away as you enter this beautifully decorated home with all the modern conveniences you could need. Corner Haven is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom fully renovated home located in the heart of Wellington on a quiet street with views of the lake.
Ideally situated, this home is within easy walking distance of the Drake Devonshire, area restaurants, grocery store, the local park, Wellington Beach and a short drive to Hillier Region wineries. This makes it a great spot for small families, romantic getaway weekends or girl's weekends with friends. Corner Haven is comprised of a Main unit and an adjoining Suite sleeping a total of 7 guests and is ideal for stays with multiple generations that allow for privacy and time together too. Each unit has a separate entrance and is also connected by a lockable door inside so you can access both sides from inside the house. CORNER HAVEN MAIN:
Enter in to the main living space with a comfy seating area and a dining room seating 5. Enjoy the flat screen TV, Cable TV, WiFi Internet, Blu-ray DVD player, stereo with docking station and gas cast-iron woodstove (in winter), and central wall air-conditioning in the summer. Floor to ceiling shelves stores the TV, games and extra bedding. Windows along the front of the house allow plenty of natural light into the main room. Off the dining room you will find a 3-season screened in porch with a seating area, perfect for having your morning coffee or evening beverage and listening to the nearby waves. The kitchen is fully stocked with fridge, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, dishes, cutlery, pots & pans and wine glasses. Basic cooking supplies are provided for your convenience. A large butcher-block island with 2 stools allows for additional seating, while a faux-tin backsplash adds to the charm of this home. Off the kitchen you will find a sitting room/bedroom through a set of pocket doors. With windows on three walls, there is plenty of light during the day. At night, close the blinds for privacy. Here you will find a Double pull-out couch with a high quality mattress that lends to a quiet night's rest. There is also a 4-piece bathroom on the main floor off the living room with Jacuzzi tub and hand held shower head, a no-barrier shower stall, and a dual-flush toilet. A grab bar is located in the shower, by the tub, and next to the toilet for those with accessibility needs. This bathroom can be accessed via a back door and has a low shower head perfect for washing off sandy feet! You will also find a washer & dryer here as well as extra storage with iron and ironing board. Upstairs find a spacious loft-style Primary bedroom with a memory foam pillow top queen bed, large dresser and end tables. A good-sized walk in closet (with door) with a window is located off the Primary with a single bed to accommodate an extra guest. You will also find an ensuite 3-piece bathroom with Jacuzzi tub (no shower). Skylights on the second level provide extra natural light.
CORNER HAVEN SUITE:
The Suite is a separate self-contained unit off the main house with its own separate entrance. It features bachelor-style living in one ample open-concept room. Here you will find a large seating area with flatscreen TV, cable TV, Blu-Ray DVD, WiFi internet and central wall air-conditioning. Large windows with privacy blinds are located throughout the unit for lots of natural light. High ceilings give the suite an airy comfortable feel that you are sure to enjoy. The Suite is ideal for one (1) couple maximum.
Next to the seating area you will find a memory foam pillow top queen bed, dresser and end tables. There is a 3-piece bathroom with tiled shower stall here with natural light filtering in from a skylight.
Enjoy the outdoors by cooking up dinner on the BBQ and eating at the outdoor patio set. Sit on the wrap-around porch (East and South sides) and watch the day go by.
Available year-round for short stays. Visits between late June and early September require WEEKLY bookings.
NO pets are allowed at this property.
A cleaning fee of $150 plus fees and taxes (where applicable) is charged on stays here. This fee covers to the cost of ensuring the property is ready for your group. Guests are still expected to leave the house in a tidy state upon departure. Instructions can be found onsite. In high season (late June through Labour Day) different check-in/out times are strictly non negotiable. Access to the cottage early to drop off belongings or to get the beach pass cannot be granted, no exceptions. Outside of high season, reach out to the Owner contact provided in your Check-in Email no sooner than 48 hours in advance of your stay to see if early in or late out can be arranged. A fee of $200 will apply for those who arrive earlier or depart later than agreed.

Inside eating area seats: 6 in Main house, 4 in guest house. A/C is central in main and is via wall unit on the guest side.
Primary bedroom on main side is a loft-style bedroom. An extra single bed is located in the large walk-in closet off the primary bedroom. The 2nd bedroom on the main side is off the kitchen in a deluxe double pullout bed. Linens for the main floor main house bedroom can be found in the washroom on that same level.
