Copper Penny is an impressive, spacious 2400 sf Luxury Log Cabin Villa located in the beautiful and tranquil Ouachita National Forest area of the Ouachita Mountains that run between the states of Oklahoma and Arkansas. It is tucked away on a quiet 40-acre private property, removing you from busy streets and road noise. The property is surrounded by national forest, horse and hiking trails, has a large fishing pond and sits adjacent to Post Mountain Lake which also provides excellent fishing. This stunning cabin has it all with fantastic views while still being just minutes away from all the fun and adventure of restaurants, shops, Sardis Lake and Ouachita Forest National Park. It’s a perfect place to unwind and relax while creating new memories with family and friends. The open concept living area has soaring ceilings with a stone fireplace and plenty of seating. There are outstanding views of the mountains and forest behind the cabin. The modern kitchen has beautiful granite countertops and stainless appliances and is fully stocked with dishes, silverware, glassware, and cookware – everything you need to cook or entertain!
The expansive floor plan offers 6 bedrooms and 12 beds (4 Queen and 8 Twin beds plus a sofa bed) with an additional sofa bed in the game room. There are 3 downstairs bathrooms and one-half bath on the second floor. The bedrooms for each family in this cabin was designed with comfort and luxury in mind. The balcony off the loft with rocking chairs is a wonderful escape from all the action. This entertainment area allows family and friends to enjoy their time together while still having plenty of space for everyone to spread out.
When it’s time to head outdoors, the enormous wrap-around covered deck allows family and friends to comfortably congregate, while still having numerous sitting areas to escape and unwind. Relax in the large 6-person Jacuzzi hot tub, relax fishing at the two big ponds on the 40 acre property,enjoy a roaring fire at the outdoor fire-pit, sing karaoke,and have a fun cookout on the gas grill and artisan brick pizza oven at the outdoor pavilion. Down below, you will find an open fire pit perfect for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows.There are also horse shoes, bean bag toss, croquet and hanging lighted play pods for the kiddos. Indoors you will find a kitchen full of everything you need for cooking and entertaining, a dining and living room,2 smart TVs (one downstairs and one upstairs), a gas fireplace and a variaty of board games to enjoy with the family.There’s something for everyone at Copper Penny Cabin. There is sleeping space for up to 15 guests which is the maximum occupancy. Exceeding maximum occupancy results in additional charges or cancellation (regardless of age). Overcrowding of the cabin is not allowed.
Copper Penny is dog-friendly cabin with a roomy built-in kennel so even your 4-legged family members have a bedroom! 2 Pet maximum (65lbs or less) with a $70 pet fee.
There is also plenty of parking space for cars and trailers in the large circle drive.
