Summary: Villa Kate is absolutely fabulous. Although traditional in style externally, it is modern and scrupulously clean inside. Beds are very comfortable and the house is more spacious, in my opinion, than it appears on the photographs. The outside space is wonderful and really well planned, with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside and down to the sea. You will need a car to get around, although Podgora is a quick 5 minute drive and Makarska, with an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops and a gorgeous marina is only about 10-15 minutes drive. Andrej was a brilliant host and was there to meet us upon arrival. Would highly recommend.
