Bring the whole family for mountain lake fun! Lakeside Hideaway is a newly renovated lake home in the desirable resort community of Connestee Falls, 35-40 minutes to the Asheville airport and 15 minutes to the charming, artistic town of Brevard.
Centered in a gated, full-amenity community, this home is in a prime location, just a few houses away from the Connestee clubhouse featuring: golf, hiking trails, restaurants, tennis, pickleball, swimming pool and more.
This recently updated 3 bedroom (plus finished basement with sofa bed)/4 bathroom lakefront house sleeps up to 12 people on a 1/2 acre wooded lot with open lake and wildlife views. Two bathrooms have tubs and two have stand-up showers.
This home has views throughout and features a large lakefront screened deck with piano, guitar and ukulele for the musical family who enjoys jamming by the lakeside or watching the deer and famous white squirrels that frequently visit the yard. For the kids, an outside-entry finished basement offers its own video arcade machine and direct lake access with dedicated cabana bath. Also enjoy brand-new Kitchen-Aid appliances, smart TV’s in every room (including the basement and porch) and updated furnishings/decor throughout. This home is pet friendly for up to 2 well behaved dogs.
The king master is on the main level and there are 2 guest rooms upstairs with 1 queen bed and 1 king bed. The finished basement also has a queen sized sleeper sofa (and an attached cabana bathroom with shower). There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for overflow guests.

Summary: We had a lovely time at this beautiful house. The location was perfect (close to the pool) and we loved being directly on the lake. Please note that the basement is not attached with an inside staircase and you have to go outside to access it. It was a great place for the young children to play but they did not sleep there for this reason.
