Incredibly spacious, this one-bedroom, two-bathroom condo (sleeps four) has been tastefully and artfully decorated. This 3rd floor home is comfortable and luxurious, with quality linens, satellite TV, an ocean view balcony overlooking the gorgeously designed and landscaped pool, and a fully appointed kitchen await you. The deck is the perfect spot to watch the cruise ships early morning while sipping your coffee, or perhaps a late afternoon cocktail while enjoying the last rays of sunshine on the Caribbean.
You can’t beat this location! On a pristine stretch of beach, one block off the famous 5th Avenue walking street, El Faro Residences holds one of the most sought after addresses in Playa del Carmen. It is not possible to be more in the heart of things and absolute comfort. Everything you could possibly need is within a three-block radius, but of course, there’s much more to see if you venture further.
This complex includes 24 hours on-site security, daily front desk staff, access to gym facilities, pool loungers, proximity to beach bars, convenience store and restaurants, self serve laundry, on-site concierge to help with arranging taxis, tours, etc. (Extra Parking Fee - 15 USD per night).

Summary: The Property is beautiful. The management company was very responsive to our needs. The property we rented for a month did not come with housekeeping. There were only 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, no wash clothes and 1 kitchen dish towel. Obviously with a month long stay and no housekeeping, we spent a lot of time washing our towels. It has an area rug in living room, but there is no broom, mop or vacuum. The pillows on the deck couch were covered with mold. The chairs on the deck were bent and coming unraveled. The television channels were only in Spanish. There was one chair in the living room that was so worn out you could not use it because your clothes stuck to the surface. We enjoyed our stay, beautiful view and beautiful property. It was nice but the unit was a little tired. I think if the owner of this unit did some refreshing of the amenities, it would be a very nice unit and we would recommend it to anyone.
