Summary: We had a great time at the Outer Banks this past week. The rental house was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. There were however, some minor details that should be addressed with the house. Please see my list here: 1. The outside access suite a. One of the three lightbulbs in the bathroom lighting fixture above the sink was missing b. One of the two lightbulbs in the bathroom ceiling light fixture was burned out, and the other bulb flickered annoyingly c. One of the two lightbulbs in the dressing room ceiling light fixture was burned out, making for a very dim room d. The TV in the bedroom turned on but we could not get it to display any channels or programs 2. The bunk bedroom a. The electrical cords for two of the light fixtures did not reach any outlets, so they were of no use 3. Kitchen a. The right front burner on the gas stove did not light. The other three burners lit fine 4. WiFi a. The WiFi signal did not reach all areas in the house b. The WiFi signal went out at least once a day and the connection had to be re-established often 5. Outside lighting a. The light at the bottom of the two stairs flickered annoyingly b. The pool lights did not work. We found the switch but it was not functioning, and all breakers seemed to be in the “on” position Again, these were minor details.
