2 Bedroom Condo in Marina Vallarta, Puerto Vallarta

I viewed many properties in Marina Vallarta and selected Bay View Grand (BVG) because it has the most beautiful gardens, largest infinity pools of which 2 are kiddy pools, and was the only property that had pool side service where you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner and a variety of spirits to select from. BVG has newer tennis courts and a full size gym with lots of equipment on the property.
My condo is located in building B which has the most desirable views in Bay View Grand. From the back patio, you will see the Bay of Banderas, downtown Puerto Vallarta (PV) referred to as Centro and Old Town and the mountains surrounding the city. Each evening we see the fireworks, the city lights and the cruise ships. My condo gets the morning sun so in the afternoon and evening you can enjoy entertaining on the back patio as you do not have the sun rays beating down on you (as you would in other buildings of BVG).
You can walk to 2 shopping centers from BVG which is Marina Plaza and all the shops and restaurants of the Marina. And the Marriott and Westin Hotels are about 10-15 minute walk with shopping and restaurants.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay Theresa's condo at the Bay View Grand.Here is what we liked:1. Location is great, with huge pools. You can choose between a heated pool and a cooler one if you want to do laps.2. Good beach - for PV standards. Don't expect white sand all the way into the water - if you want that you'll need to go to the Caribbean :)3. The condo is well equipped, esp. the kitchen. Enough plates and flatware so you don't need to wash the dishes after each meal. And a gas cooktop - works a lot faster than the usual combination of an electric stove and pots that are uneven on the bottom. And there even is a griddle for grilling!4. Great view of the town and Banderas Bay from the balcony.5. Theresa's local representative (Diana) is very nice and speaks English very well. Our flight home was at 6pm, she let us check out at 3pm, so we had almost an extra day to enjoy the sun.6. BVG is all private condos, which means there are NO time share salespeople!Something to be aware of:The condo is next to the airport, which is not a big problem for the master bedroom that faces the ocean. But the second bedroom gets the noise from starting airplanes (first at 6:15AM, last at 11:15PM).
